    @dolfan55aj – Trust me when I say you’re not being overly optimistic. David Fincher is more than qualified; he’s one of the best (in my humble opinion of all time). It’s the movie I’m most looking forward to for the rest of the year.

    I wished they’d release more of the aggressive stuff.

    FEBRUARY 2012: And the Oscar for best original score goes to… Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo! *HUGE APPLAUSE

  4. austinthebookworm5 Says:

    I love it when 2 films adapt the same book in different ways :)

  5. jao1915 Says:

    @ffVIIfanboy In my opinion Fincher is better than Nolan in almost every way… But Nolan is still an ass kicking director!

  6. ffVIIfanboy Says:

    @JesusCristo2002 I agree. The Kings Speech was a fantastic movie, but between the two, David Fincher was the better choice. But if Christopher Nolan had been nominated, I would not be opposed to him winning over Fincher and Hooper.

    I can’t wait to see what scene this 7minute masterpiece fits into. Reznor used to heavily layer his music before (Purest Feeling, PHM, TDS, “The Perfect Drug” single), and it’s nice to hear his stuff stripped of so much gloss (although I LOVED the “gloss”)! It’s his recent simplicity wherein we find more transparency, and thus he captures the precise feeling per chord for each bit of action happening in front of the camera. I really hope that Trent & Atticus score a Jeremy Podeswa film!

    @ffVIIfanboy – David Fincher I think should have won Best Director for “The Social Network” (the man I thought was most qualified to win wasn’t even nominated – aka Christopher Nolan for “Inception”.

    Reminds me of the Fragile

    very cool song, creepy vibe but I like it. It kinda reminds me of a zombie movie

  11. 3ombieautopilot Says:

    Такая цёмная, аднак у той жа час прыгожая музыка.

  12. ffVIIfanboy Says:

    @ganondorfguy101 Yeah, and another academy award winning score for a film with the same director as the previous winning score. Coincidence?! I think not……

  13. JuiKuen Says:

    @Raefire

    Now, this is retarded. Like I’d said, I can’t comment on Daft Punk scoring but their music is junk

  14. JuiKuen Says:

    @NeonPandaCrumbs

    Agreed. Zimmer is cut & paste these days, but I can’t comment of Daft Punk’s soundtrack for Tron. Can’t say I like them as a band though

  15. CalmNoise Says:

    Cant wait anymore… I need a new song… Trent?

  16. JesusCristo2002 Says:

    @CeejayGSPB – Do you by any chance know the release date for the soundtrack?

  17. JesusCristo2002 Says:

    @CalmNoise – It’s not weird at ALL.

  18. MateoPadulaTV Says:

    @ganondorfguy101 it happened to Gustavo Santaolalla and those soundtracks were just a guitar.

  19. ganondorfguy101 Says:

    @beano090593 Why not? It happened to Tom Hanks. Why couldn’t it happen to Reznor and Ross?

  20. Jtsolario Says:

    @Zooroonies because with a few key strokes and a couple clicks of a mouse anyone with a brain could find out that this movie is an adaptation of the book, not the swedish film. i’m tired of people calling fincher’s version a “remake” of the “original”. the writer of this film, steve zaillain, adapted a screenplay based on the BOOK, not oplev’s 2009 version. this isn’t Let Me In which was clearly a “remake”. fincher’s version is a separate work from oplev’s, both based on a parent work.

  21. JordMcDrummer Says:

    The only reason im dreading this soundtrack is to look at comments from twats whining about how unfair it will be when these two get an award over some other musician…

  22. beano090593 Says:

    @ganondorfguy101 I doubt it. Another nom anyway, but not two wins in a row

  23. ShayaNova Says:

    haunting

  24. Zooroonies Says:

    @Jtsolario uhhhhhhhhhhhh i’m right. if you have never heard of the original sweedish version then why are you saying that i’m wrong.

  25. ganondorfguy101 Says:

    Can we say…another Oscar nomination and win to Mr. Reznor and Mr. Ross? I bet we can!
